Description
An interesting and very strong sounding violin from Caussin Workshop. This handsome French violin has a two-piece book matched maple back displaying fine lateral flaming with medium deep optics. The ribs and scroll match, and the scroll is nicely and deeply carved. The top is very finely grained spruce. The varnish is a light golden brown color that has darkened with age, and is evenly applied. This violin features very comfortable playing properties and expresses its warm, mature and full of character.
