Description
This beautiful sounding French violin by René Marichal 1932s. The violin is a high quality handmade from Mirecourt. A very good and extremely carefully made instrument, it follows a personal interpretation of the model, with arching kept flat, wide corners and finely rounded edges. The transparent and bright orange-brown varnish is witness to intensive playing and gives the large violin its special, warm character. The violin, which is crackfree, was restored in our violin making workshop and is offered in playing condition. Its sound is clear and rich in overtones, warm and radiant, yet very well balanced across the registers and the four strings, ringing in the upper ranges and rich in overtones
