Description

This interesting Japan violin is from TSUGUO TOYOSHIMA. He went to London on 1983 restoration and making new violin under Ed Smith who used work as head restore with Charles Beare in London. He returned to Tokyo and opened workshop in Yoyogi at 1986. He moved to Cremona at 1992 to learn a style of today’s cremonase instruments to feel an atmosphere of the period of the great masters like as Amati, Stradivari, Guarneri etc.

The instrument’s orange-brown oil varnish, with some traces of use and a pretty craquelle, gives the high-quality tonewoods a unique, antique aesthetic. The violin is in undamaged condition and captivates with its deep, warm and sweet sound.
