Description
This french violn by Léon Fischesser (Paris) from 1913 who stems from the Alsace region, began freelancing in Geneva in 1889 and in Paris in 1905 where he worked in the Faubourg Poissonière. In 1900 Léon Fischesser made a violin for the famous violonist Joachim.
The musical appreciation this outstanding soloist instrument has received can be seen by some traces of intensive use, especially on the back, which is crafted of wonderfully even maple. The aesthetic of this great violin is as fascinating and enigmatic as its sound, powerful, rich in volume, mature and radiant, suitable for professional soloist play.
