Description
Dino Filippi 1977 Cesena, pupil of Guerrino Bianchi, The Filippi is in mint conditions. This violin back made by two pieces of Balkan maple with regular pronounced flames sloping down slightly from the center joint. The front is made by tow pieces of Italian spruce with a regular annual ring pattern of medium width. The ribs and the head are made with same maple of the back. This varnish is of a golden yellow color. This violin produce mature sound is nuanced and expressive, which is fill of warm power and good resonance.
