This violin built in the style of Giovanni Paolo Maggini (1580-1687) are popular with bluegrass and old-time fiddlers because, compared to standard-size violins, their slightly larger and deeper body tends to produce a lot of volume and brighter sound. The violin with a beautiful and luminous, deep dark orange, antique varnish. The beautiful two-piece maple back and the delicately carved scroll provide a beautiful, elegant appearance. Its sound features a noble and brilliant character, clear and dominating with immediate response.
